Of the perp venues in our tracker that still have no token, the ones with a real product and a published audit are Extended, Pacifica, Hibachi and Bullet. Nado, Bulk and Variational Omni have volume but gaps in their audit or verification record, and TRUE's token is already scheduled for 15 October 2026. If you are going to farm points anywhere, do it on a venue you would use without the points; the airdrop, if it comes, is a bonus on top of a good exchange, not a reason to use a bad one.
This guide lists every pre-token venue we track, what its points programme rewards, and what we could not verify. It also explains the cost side of farming, which most airdrop guides skip. Some links are affiliate links; they do not affect which venues are listed or how they are described.
- Points are a marketing expense the venue chooses to pay; they are not a promise of a token, and Extended slashed some accounts in August 2026.
- Hyperliquid's 2024 HYPE airdrop is the reference case, and it is why every new perp DEX now runs a points season.
- Lighter, Aster, edgeX, Paradex and GRVT have all launched tokens since December 2025 and are off the watchlist.
- Farming has real costs: fees, funding and the risk of an unaudited venue. Size positions as if the airdrop were worth zero.
Why every new perp DEX has a points programme
In 2024 Hyperliquid distributed the HYPE token to users who had traded during its points seasons, and the token went on to become one of the largest in DeFi by market cap. Every perp DEX launched since has copied the pattern: run a points season, publish weekly snapshots, hint at a token, and let traders infer the rest. The points and airdrop lesson covers the mechanics.
Points create volume; volume climbs rankings; rankings attract more traders. That loop is why a venue's ranking position during a points season says less than usual, and why our methodology notes incentive-driven volume as a limitation. Some venues have kept their promise and launched; the table below shows those that have not yet.

The watchlist: audited venues with live points
- Extended (Starknet): 0% / 0.025% fees, more than 100 markets including stocks and FX, audited by ChainSecurity plus a public Code4rena contest, eToro as an investor. Points were slashed for some accounts in August 2026, which is the clearest reminder that points are discretionary.
- Pacifica (Solana): 0.015% / 0.04%, self-funded, one BlockSec audit, weekly points snapshots. Its own materials say points are not a promise of an airdrop.
- Meridian, formerly Ethereal (now on Robinhood Chain): the Ethena-ecosystem venue rebranded in mid-2026, moved chains and relaunched with prediction markets first; perps are announced as coming next, points carried over. Treat it as a relaunch, not an established venue.
- Hibachi (ZK rollup): 0% / 0.045%, audited by Hexens and Quantstamp, encrypted balances. Maximum leverage is not published, so it shows n/a in our data.
- Bullet (Solana L2): the successor to Zeta, perps live since 12 February 2026, 0.01% / 0.04%, Sigma Prime audit, points with a boost for ZEX holders. No public volume feed yet.
Live points, but gaps we could not close
- Nado (Ink, Kraken ecosystem): built by the former Vertex team, 0.01% / 0.035%, 20× maximum, Season 1 points. No third-party audit is published; a bug bounty runs. Volume is real and indexed.
- Bulk (Solana): invite-only since 5 September 2026, 0% / 0.035%, AURA points. No audit information, and open interest above daily volume two weeks in is unusual enough that we would wait.
- Variational Omni (Arbitrum): Omni points through Q3 2026 with a VAR token announced, audited by Zellic and Spearbit. Zero explicit fees, but a 4 to 6 basis-point spread from a single liquidity provider, and volume that is self-reported rather than independently indexed.
- Ostium and Avantis: RWA-focused perp venues with no token; we have no verified points details for either.
- Reya: has a token already, and a fee schedule we could not pin down, so it is not on this list.
A missing audit does not mean a venue is dishonest. It means the only evidence of safety is that nothing has gone wrong yet. Our audit lesson explains what a report does and does not prove.
About to launch, and recently launched
TRUE (Solana) runs a points contest with USDC prizes and has scheduled its token listing for 15 October 2026. The venue has been live since August 2026, charges 0.02% / 0.10%, and has no published audit or bug bounty. A dated launch removes the guesswork but not the risk.
Off the list since late 2025: Lighter (LIT, 30 December 2025, a 25% airdrop), edgeX (EDGE, March 2026), Paradex (DIME, March 2026), GRVT (July 2026) and Aster. These are useful reference points: each ran a points programme first, each rewarded early traders, and each also shows how quickly attention moves once the token is out.

What farming actually costs
Points guides talk about upside. The cost side has four lines. Fees: on a 0.04% taker venue, churning volume to earn points costs 0.08% per round trip, which adds up fast at the volumes leaderboards reward. Funding: holding positions to earn open-interest points means paying the funding rate, often several tenths of a percent a week on the crowded side. Venue risk: your collateral sits on a months-old contract; on an unaudited venue that is the whole bet. Slashing and sybil rules: points can be reduced or removed at the venue's discretion, as Extended showed in August 2026, and wash-trading between your own accounts is usually grounds for exclusion.
The sober approach: pick one or two venues from the audited list that you would use anyway, trade the size and style you would trade without points, and keep leverage low. If a token arrives, it is a bonus. If it does not, you have lost nothing but the fees you would have paid elsewhere.
Our picks
Best overall pre-token venue: Extended, for markets, fees and audit coverage, with the slashing episode as a caution. On Solana: Pacifica. For privacy: Hibachi. Wait and watch: Nado, Bulk, Variational, TRUE, until an audit is published or volume is independently verified.
Points programmes change weekly and we do not track leaderboard mechanics; check each venue's own page for the current season. Our perp ranking shows how these venues compare once the points are stripped out.

Rankings on this page are computed from the dataset behind the whole site: volume and open interest from the venues' own market APIs and public trackers, TVL from DefiLlama, fees and leverage from official documentation.
