Best Solana DEXes in 2026: swaps, perps and aggregators

⏱ 8 min read ● Beginner Data snapshot Oct 10, 2026

For swapping on Solana, start with Jupiter. It is an aggregator that routes across every Solana pool, so you get the best available price without choosing a venue yourself, and it has the most active user base in DeFi. If you want to provide liquidity or trade tokens at the moment they launch, the underlying AMMs are Raydium, Orca and Meteora. For perpetuals, the established choices are Drift, Jupiter Perps and Pacifica.

Solana's low fees and fast settlement make it the busiest chain for retail on-chain trading, and 2026 has brought a wave of new perp venues on it: Bullet, Bulk and TRUE among them. This guide separates the proven from the promising, using the fees, audits and track records in our dataset. Some links are affiliate links; the ordering follows our metrics and nothing else.

≡Key takeaways
  • Jupiter is the default for swaps: it routes across every Solana DEX and charges no fee of its own.
  • Raydium (0.25%), Orca (0.30%) and Meteora (0.20%) are the pools underneath; most new tokens list on Raydium or Meteora first.
  • Drift, Jupiter Perps and Pacifica are the perp venues with audits and a track record; Bullet, Bulk and TRUE are too new to rely on.
  • New Solana tokens are the main way beginners lose money on the chain, not the exchanges themselves.

The Solana venues in our tracker

Solana is unusual in that one aggregator sits on top of several large AMMs and most users never touch the AMMs directly. The table below lists the venues we track on the chain, ranked by our score, which weights liquidity, security and cost. Affiliate relationships are marked where they exist and do not affect the order.

What the table cannot show is how the pieces fit together, which is what the rest of this guide covers.

Jupiter: the swap default

Jupiter is a DEX aggregator. When you request a swap it splits the order across Raydium, Orca, Meteora and smaller pools to find the best combined price, then executes it in one transaction. It charges no fee of its own on standard swaps; you pay the pool fee of the route. It is audited by OtterSec and Sec3 and has run since 2021. For a beginner this removes the hardest question on Solana, which pool to use, and our aggregator lesson explains the mechanics.

Jupiter also runs perps with about 0.07% taker fee and up to 20× leverage, and a range of limit-order and DCA tools. The perps product is younger than the swap and carries the usual liquidation risk; treat it as a separate decision. See Jupiter vs Raydium for when going direct to a pool makes sense.

Raydium, Orca and Meteora: the pools underneath

Raydium is Solana's core AMM and launchpad liquidity hub, with a 0.25% fee, audits from OtterSec and Kudelski, and a large share of new-token listings. Orca charges a typical 0.30% on its pools and is the simplest of the three to use directly. Meteora lists 0.20% and is, alongside Raydium, where many new tokens get their first pool.

Go direct to one of these when you want to provide liquidity (each has its own farm and fee-tier model), or when a token is so new that only one pool exists. For everything else, Jupiter will route to them anyway. The caution applies to the tokens, not the venues: Raydium and Meteora are full of pairs launched hours ago, and most of those go to zero. Stick to majors and stablecoins until rug pulls and honeypots are familiar territory.

Perps on Solana: Drift, Jupiter Perps, Pacifica

Drift is the veteran Solana perp DEX, live since 2021, with a 0.05% taker fee, a 0.01% maker rebate and up to 50× leverage. Pacifica is the fast-growing newcomer: 0.015% maker / 0.04% taker, up to 50×, self-funded, with one published audit (BlockSec) and a points programme rather than a token. Points are not a promise of an airdrop, and a single audit is a thinner safety case than the multi-chain leaders carry. Jupiter Perps at about 0.07% taker is the most expensive of the three but sits inside the app most Solana users already have open.

None of these matches Hyperliquid for depth; the trade-off is staying on the chain where your funds already are, with no bridge. Our perp ranking covers the cross-chain picture, and what perpetuals are is the place to start if leverage is new to you.

The 2026 newcomers, and what we could not verify

  • Bullet is the successor of Zeta Markets, a Solana L2 with perps live since 12 February 2026, fees of 0.01% / 0.04%, and a Sigma Prime audit. No public volume feed exists yet, so we cannot rank it.
  • Bulk opened mainnet on 5 September 2026 by invitation only, at 0% / 0.035% and up to 40×. No audit information is published, and its reported open interest exceeds daily volume two weeks after launch, which is unusual. Treat its figures with caution.
  • TRUE is an AI-native perp DEX live since August 2026 with a chat interface, 0.02% / 0.10% fees, no published audit and no bug bounty. A token listing is scheduled for 15 October 2026. The interface is approachable; the safety case is not yet made.
  • Ranger Finance is a perp aggregator routing to Drift, Jupiter, Flash and Hyperliquid. You pay the venue's fee plus an undisclosed routing fee, and no completed audit is documented.
  • Lifinity is winding down and should not be used for new positions.

Our rule for all of these: if the audit is missing or the volume cannot be independently verified, the venue may still be honest, but you are taking that on trust. Size accordingly.

Which Solana DEX should you use?

Swaps of any size: Jupiter. Providing liquidity: Raydium, Orca or Meteora, depending on the pool and fee tier you want. Perps with a track record: Drift. Perps at the lowest fee: Pacifica, with small size while its audit trail is short. Perps without leaving the Jupiter app: Jupiter Perps, accepting the higher fee.

Whichever you choose, keep some SOL for network fees, verify the URL before connecting a wallet, and double-check the token address on anything that is not a major. Solana's speed cuts both ways: a mistake settles as fast as a good trade. The first-swap lesson walks through the checks.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest way to swap on Solana?
Use Jupiter. It charges no fee of its own and routes to the cheapest available pool, which for stable pairs is often well under the 0.25% to 0.30% headline fee of a single AMM.
Is Raydium safe?
Raydium's contracts are audited by OtterSec and Kudelski and have run since 2021. The risk on Raydium is the tokens, not the venue: it lists many brand-new pairs, most of which lose value quickly.
Which Solana perp DEX has the lowest fees?
Pacifica at 0.015% maker / 0.04% taker among the audited venues. Bulk lists 0% / 0.035% but is invite-only with no published audit. Drift charges 0.05% taker with a maker rebate.
Should I trade perps on Solana or on Hyperliquid?
Hyperliquid has far deeper books but needs a bridge deposit. If your capital is on Solana and you trade majors at modest size, Drift or Pacifica avoid the bridge. For size and tight spreads, Hyperliquid.
Are Bullet, Bulk and TRUE worth trying?
They are new, and either unaudited or without verifiable volume. If you try one, use an amount you can lose entirely and do not leave funds there between sessions.
iHow we rank

Rankings on this page are computed from the dataset behind the whole site: volume and open interest from the venues' own market APIs and public trackers, TVL from DefiLlama, fees and leverage from official documentation. Affiliate relationships never change an order. Anything we could not verify is shown as n/a rather than estimated. Read the full methodology.
